Hi everyone, I am a newbie at importing. I'm from India but live in USA and have many contacts of the Garment/ Textile Manufacturers in India. I'm attempting to import a Readymade Garments for Men, Women, Kids, Children, Fashion accessories, from India

I'm a bit of a do-it-yourself type role not for monetary reasons, but because I want to know how it is done. I've read a book and spent countless hours on cbp.gov looking for answers to my questions.

I want someone who can provide me all the major information as how to go about it in getting things imported to USA from India like all the legal issue.

- Should I register as a company in the US
- Should get any license
- How to go about the shipment from India to USA or UK
- How are the International payments done?
- What are legal terms and conditions that are applied for the exporters from India that i need to communicate on.
- What are the costs involved during the entire Importing process
- And i have so many other questions in my mind as well.

I would request if someone can help me in providing me depth knowledge on the same.
