importing fish

I'm new to the importing industry. and I am wondering how i can import fish (mostly reef fish) into the united states from south pacific. I have my exporter ready to begin the process but I dont know where to start here in the United states. I am based in Chicago and I want to import them all the way here then i'll distribute to my clients.anything to start off with would be appreciated.
